Alessandro Avigliano
My name is Alessandro Avigliano, also known as AleCarbon, and I am a passionate amputee athlete. My love for sports, particularly mountain biking, has been a driving force in my life.
In 2003, I experienced a life-altering accident that resulted in the loss of my right leg. However, instead of letting this setback define me, I dedicated myself to overcoming obstacles and rediscovering my true potential through the exhilarating world of mountain biking and the beauty of nature.
In 2016, I proudly took on the role of the official opener for the Mountain Bike World Championships, an accomplishment that marked a significant milestone in my journey. Since then, I have fearlessly taken part in races of all levels, including renowned events such as Crankworks and MaxiAvalanche. With each new challenge, I continue to push my limits and inspire others to do the same.
My dedication to sports extends beyond mountain biking. I actively engage in various disciplines, such as snowboarding, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and more. This diverse range of activities allows me to explore different aspects of athleticism and maintain a well-rounded approach to my training.
Beyond my athletic endeavors, I have also ventured into the realm of destination development and consulting. In recent years, I have focused on creating and organizing MTB and E-Bike experiences in Trentino and now in Liguria. Through these ventures, I aim to share my passion with others and provide them with unforgettable adventures while delivering a meaningful message about the power of embracing challenges, especially those we face in our everyday lives. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to inspire and motivate others through my journey. It is my hope that by sharing my story and transmitting my passion, I can encourage individuals to overcome their own obstacles and embrace a life filled with adventure and personal growth.
